Wake up and smell the coffee!
Picture this: you’re an #ESL teacher in a classroom of twenty students, heads down on their written work, and all look like they are done with the day. It’s only lunch time and you’ve got two more classes left in the day.
As the teacher, you’re a little tired too. So what do you do? Games, of course!
Games in the classroom are a great way to get your students motivated and to wake up the room — all while learning!
There are many games to play in class and I’ve made a collection of them! As an ESL teacher, I’ve tried these games many times. They never fail to liven up the classroom and stimulate student’s minds.
A great icebreaker game is “Get to know you” Bingo. It’s a great way to practice ESL skills, while learning new things about fellow students. Heck, even you can play and learn more about your students!
There are other awesome games, like 20 Questions and Apples to Apples. They’re all great ways to get your students moving around during a long day.
Check out the blog post, and let me know which game you like the most!
